You'll find Villa Veneziano tucked away on a hillside on the east coast of the island of Lefkada; a labour of love, the 5-suite luxury hideaway was built by Sergei Kauzov in memory of his wife Christina Onassis. Located in the village of Perigiali, just a few minutes away from the bustling town of Nydri, the charming spot has far-reaching views to the Ionian Sea and the isle of Skorpios, and is surrounded by 2,000 square metres of lush gardens.
Book a single room, but if you're looking for your own private space hire Villa Veneziano in its entirety for a family holiday or celebration with friends and family.
An à la carte breakfast is served every morning, and if you're taking the villa over exclusively a private chef can be organised Groceries can be purchased and delivered to you too (extra charges apply).
The Villa has 5 air-conditioned luxury suites; each sleeps 2, with the option for an extra bed in Christine, Aristoteles, and Alexander. All rooms are individually and stylishly decorated, sharing communal areas including a kitchen, living space and dining room. There's a patio and BBQ, and a number of shaded outdoor spots. Walk up the steps and you'll reach the pool complete with an eye-catching pool house.
Complimentary WiFi, satellite TV, pool towels and daily maid service are all included. Book a single room or take over the entire villa with friends and family.
Sun-lovers can enjoy the views from the infinity pool and its pavilion. But if you're unlucky enough to have a rainy day, head indoors and play on the Play Station or watch a film on the home cinema in the living room.
Whether you're staying at Villa Veneziano on a nightly basis or taking it over for you and your friends, VIP transfers can be arranged, as can boat trips, cruises, private tours, massages, and babysitters.
The island has a rich cultural heritage that you can discover by visiting the Archaeological Museum in Lefkada Town or the Ecclesiastical Museum at the Faneromeni Convent, which is a landmark in itself. Another not-to-be-missed site is the Fortress of Agia Mavra, very close to the Town.
Of course, Lefkada is famous for its sandy beaches and turquoise waters. Jump in a car and within 30-45 minutes you'll reach an array: Agios Ioannis, Myli, Ammoglossa, Agios Nikitas, Kathisma, and Vassiliki.
Free parking is available.
