A stay at De.Light is all about kicking back and unwinding beside the infinity pool, as the splendour of the glittering Aegean stretches below. Enjoy a pampering massage, or head to Agios Ioannis beach just below the hotel. In the evening, retire to the poolside bar and watch as the sunset streaks the sky with bold purple and burning amber.
Dining
Start your day with a breakfast of fresh, local produce including eggs, cheeses, sausages, creamy Greek yoghurt and freshly-baked breads and pastries. Throughout the day, the poolside bar and lounge serves refreshments and light bites. For more substantial meals, the hotel’s restaurant serves traditional, local recipes inspired by Ancient Greek hospitality and traditions on the beautiful poolside terrace.
Accommodation
The minimalist style of the 18 rooms and suites provides comfort without distracting from the gorgeous sea views given by each suite. Bathrooms are equipped with powerful showers and artisanal toiletries. For a special treat, splash out on the pricier suites which feature private balconies complete with outdoor hot tubs.
Activities
- The large infinity pool is surrounded by spacious sun-beds, perfect for basking in the Greek sunshine. After a day spent bronzing, pamper yourself with a rejuvenating massage at the hotel’s wellness area or in the comfort of your own room. De.Light has sun-beds reserved on Agios Ioannis beach, located just a short walk from the hotel; film buffs may recognise the beach as the setting for many scenes from the movie Shirley Valentine.
- If you’re not content to spend your days lounging in the sunshine, take a boat trip to the nearby island of Delos. This UNESCO World Heritage site was considered holy by the Ancient Greeks as the mythical birthplace of the goddess Artemis and her twin brother Apollo. Once the site of a sprawling temple and city complex, the island is now one of the most important archaeological areas in Greece.

Excelent hotel.The rooms are really clean with a lot of space.The food and drinks are awesome, including the l carte breakfast. The hotel is small which turn it a very cosy place. The beach is a 5 minutes walking and they have free sun loungers and umbrellas for the guests.

Well from landing at the airport where a member of staff was there to greet us and transfer to the hotel free of charge, welcomed at the hotel with a complimentary drink and a bottle of wine in our sea view room . The hotel is in a quite location with a beach only 5 minutes walk with free sunbeds for hotel guests normally 20 each . A shop across from the hotel where you can buy soft drinks, beers , wines and spirits. All the local places are quite expensive for food and drink but everything is in mykonos. The breakfast in the hotel is great and the staff are very helpful . The best way to get about is the bus stop across from the hotel taking only 15 to 20 mins to get into town with buses every 30 mins costing 1.80 per person .the road is quite dangerous to walk into town although we did one day taking 1 hour and is around 5km . We would definitely recommend this hotel looking across to the hippie fish where shirley valentine was filmed. Not a massive night life here , just a relax chilled place .
