A stone’s throw from the luxurious boutiques of the Rue Saint Honoré, Hotel Lumen Paris Louvre is ideal for those looking for a touch of romantic Parisian elegance. It’s certainly a stylish hideaway: nestled within a grand 19th-century Haussmann building, the Neo-Baroque décor features design work by Claudio Colucci and Giuseppe Chierchia. Rooms have a subtle elegance to them, while the restaurant and bar is beautifully lit within an airy conservatory. Tiny details throughout, such as the Hermès products in the bathrooms, give the hotel a decidedly luxurious atmosphere.
Located in the heart of Paris, near some of the city’s best landmarks, this is the ideal hotel for those who want to explore the ‘city of love’ in sophisticated style.
I am one of the three owners along with my father and my uncle. They refurbished everything inside to create this intimate boutique hotel with a gastronomic restaurant. My position as General Manager has been influenced by my passion for the industry - my family has been in hospitality for 20 years. I would even say that I fell in love with the profession. I am always delighted to meet new people and share stories. If I meet you in the hotel, I will be glad to have a coffee with you.
Start your day with an expansive breakfast buffet, featuring continental favourites such as fruit and freshly-baked pastries to eggs and bacon. If you prefer, breakfast can be served in the privacy of your bedroom.
The beautiful restaurant is filled with natural light beneath a glass canopy, just beneath the picturesque Saint Roch Church. Chef Akira Sugiura serves delicious Mediterranean-inspired cuisine with a Japanese twist, with the menu entirely based around seasonal and fresh ingredients. The Matcha Green Tea Tiramisu is a perennial favourite.
Suites are decorated in a contemporary manner inspired by the elegance of Neo-Baroque architecture. Many of the rooms have views over the romantic rooftops and streets of Paris, or the picturesque Church of Saint Roch. We love the little luxuries, such as the Hermès bath products and Godiva chocolates provided in each room.
The Junior and Family suites have balconies overlooking the surrounding streets, whilst the Jacuzzi Suite has the added luxury of your very own personal Jacuzzi, perfect for romantic soaks.
Shopaholics will love the location - just outside the hotel is the Rue Saint Honoré, home to some of the city’s finest boutiques such as Chanel, Cartier, Armani and Dior. Alternatively, if you’re after a spot of culture, the world-famous Louvre is just a short stroll away, home to one of the finest collections of art in the world.
We love the ‘Handy’ mobile provided free-of-charge by the hotel. Not only can you make free international calls, but it comes loaded with city guides and recommendations, so you’ll find plenty of inspiration for places to see.
