Dotted across the landscape of the Itria Valley, there’s something rather enchanting about Puglia’s conical roofed trulli and it’s something quite special indeed to be able to stay in one.
With only three rooms, there is an intimate feel and you are made to feel right at home. Run by the two charming owners, Roberto and Marcella are attentive and helpful without ever intruding.
Surrounded by olive trees, there are great views from the pool and the lovely, shaded seating area and no other sounds than the birds in the trees. Enchanted indeed.
A generous breakfast is served out on the terrace each morning.
Whilst there is no restaurant on site, the lovely owners are happy to help with recommendations and table bookings at nearby establishments.
At Lemoredinella each of the three lovely rooms are housed in their very own trullo and aptly named after symbols of primitive and magical art – The Sun, The Chandelier and The Fish. Of the the, one is a Double and the other two Suites offering a bit more space and an extra bed – though all are roomy enough. The décor here is beautifully simple – rustic elegance and all your modern comforts, without detracting from the dramatic structure.
It's worth noting that there is a 2-night minimum stay.
Lemoredinella offers a delightfully rural setting with views out over the countryside from the gorgeous pool.
The B&B is well-placed to explore with Monopoli and the Adriatic coast both just a 15-20 minute drive away, as is the UNESCO World Heritage site of Alberobello, where plenty more trulli can be found. ‘The White City’ of Ostuni is a 45-minute drive away.
