An important shortcoming of this 5 star hotel is that it lacks a working airconditioning. This is the case for all rooms. In November the room temperature was 26 C! I can't imagine what the rooms were like during the hot summer. The hot room temperature forced us to open our windows during the night. This in turn has led to us getting bit by mosquitoes...Aside from the malfunctioning airco, we were very happy with the friendly staff at the reception and the adjacent hotel restaurant. The breakfast was ok, but monotonous (every day they had the same offering).Unfortunately we are not planning to come back, unless the owner invests in a decent airconditioning system!

+ super localization+ friendly front desk+ really nice breakfast staff+ clean+ so good smell in whole hotel!+ art elements in hotel- not cosy, dark room- cold in the room at the night (october)- breakfast offer could be more attractiveIn general- I reccomend!

The rooms are amazing, the staff is very helpful. The one complaint was the door had a tendency to not lock automatically on the first try, after a visit from maintenance they explained the process.

Expensive but very close to some of the major sites - walk to Colosseum and Forum, short taxi ride to Vatican City with the Basilica, Sistine Chapel, the Pieta, the museums. Hotel is comfortable, very nice, has two restaurants. Breakfast included.
