Only when you book with ChicThe Beech Hill Hotel & Spa is situated on the shores of one of the Lake District's most beautiful locations at the top of a private driveway, about 2.5 km away from the centre of Bowness. The hotel can comfortably trace its origins back to the 1900s, when the stone walls of the original hotel first graced the banks of Lake Windermere. There are 55 rooms in total and many of the rooms have private balconies or access to the garden.
Dining
Burlington's
Named after the local slate, Burlington's is not just a hotel restaurant, its a destination in its own right. The head chef Lukasz specialises in French and English cuisine and uses only the finest, freshest local produce and ingredients. On offer is a choice of two, three or five course selections from our menu.
Afternoon Tea
Afternoon Tea is a very relaxed affair whether you sit on the terrace enjoying the stunning views or sit in the cosy lounge in the leather Chesterfields. No matter which Afternoon Tea you choose, Champagne or not, you will be delighted with your choice.
Accommodation
The rooms are traditionally decorated and equipped with a TV, a radio alarm clock and a hairdryer. All are en-suite with a shower and bathtub. Standard in-room amenities include a direct dial telephone, Internet access and tea and coffee making facilities. Many of the bedrooms have private balconies or access to the garden overlooking the lake.
Activities
The Lakeview Spa is unique in that whether you are in the indoor pool, the vitality spa pools on the spa terrace or treatment rooms, you have unrivalled views of Windermere and the snow capped ranges beyond. The design includes three spa treatment rooms (including a couples treatment room), a Himalayan Sauna, an aromatic Steam Room, two outside Vitality Spa Pools and a 40ft indoor pool.
Seasonal water sports are also available from 1st April through to 30th September (weather dependent). Charges will apply.

Lovely hotel. We stayed in the Ruskin suite which is very large and has an amazing view of the lake. We ate in Burlingtons restaurant and were very impressed with the food. The spa is good - especially the spa pool on the balcony. It's also in a very good location with easy access to the attractions around Windermere. I would describe the hotel as very traditional in style.

We stayed at the Beech Hill Hotel last week for 2 nights on a Dinner, Bed & Breakfast rate.The General Manager Jonathan and his team couldnt do enough for us to ensure our stay was fantastic throughoutA gorgeous lake view room, coupled with excellent food, drinks and service was exactly what we were looking for and we receivedMy wife who is vegetarian had an option created daily for her by the chefs to cater for her lunch and dinner requirementsOther standout performers were Kyle & Veronica in the restaurant who looked after our every need including liaising with the chefs on a daily basis- definitely a credit to the teamLaura behind reception, another great team member who booked our Windermere lakeside cruise with ease, and ensured our stay went as planned.We will definitely stay here again and look forward to returning soonKind RegardsChris & Suzanne
