The hotel can comfortably trace its origins back to the 1900s, when the stone walls of the original hotel first graced the banks of Lake Windermere. There are 55 rooms in total and many of the rooms have private balconies or access to the garden.
Named after the local slate, Burlington's is not just a hotel restaurant, its a destination in its own right.
