Blogger review: Elena Sandor (EatWearTravel) visits Ellenborough Park

Elena Sandor, behind the stylish blog EatWearTravel, travels the world with her husband and toddler, and is dedicated to teaching her daughter to love travel just as much as she does! Here we catch up with her to hear about her recent stay at the gorgeous Ellenborough Park – an elegant manor house set in the charming Cotswolds.

Describe The Cotswolds in 3 words:

Charming, Magical, Unique

Tell us the best part about staying in a manor house:

It feels like getting immersed in history, while still enjoying the comfort and convenience of the 21st century.

What was your favourite place in Ellenborough Park?

Our Suite was superb! It was one of the most beautiful room we’ve stayed in. Knowing that we’re in a room 400 years old felt magical. The bathroom was gorgeous, filled with natural light and spacious free stand bath tub.

What was your favourite dish in the restaurant?

I really loved the grilled veal chop with creamy garlic polenta and Hereford snails. The entire dinner was exceptional, especially our wine.

Most memorable view of the trip?

The entire domain was beautiful, especially the view of the race course.

Where are you headed next?

Morocco.
